1. Is there any entrance exam for Haryana Polytechnic admission this year? No, there is no entrance exam. Admissions are granted purely on the basis of an “Inter-se-Merit” (rank list) prepared according to your marks in the qualifying examination (10th for Diploma Engg, 12th for Pharmacy/Lateral Entry).
2. Is the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID mandatory for everyone? The PPP ID is strictly mandatory for all candidates who are residents of Haryana. Candidates from other states do not need a PPP ID.
3. What is the application fee for the HSTES Polytechnic form? The online registration fee is ₹1000/- for General Category candidates and ₹700/- for all Reserved Categories of Haryana (including SC, BC, PH, EWS, and Girls).
4. Do I need to visit a center to verify my documents after applying? No, the initial verification of your application form and qualifying marks will be done online by designated centers. However, after a seat is allotted to you, you must visit the allotted institute physically for final document verification.
