| 1. What is the tenure of the Ad-hoc Clerk post in Ambala District Court? The appointment is purely on an ad-hoc basis for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court, whichever is earlier. 2. Can candidates from outside Haryana claim reservation benefits? No, reservation is only applicable to candidates having Haryana domicile. Reserved category candidates from other states/UTs will be considered as General category candidates. 3. Is typing knowledge required for the Clerk post? Yes, candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for a Computer Proficiency Test which includes a typing test in English at the speed of 30 W.P.M. It is mandatory but qualifying in nature. 4. How to submit the application form? Applications must be submitted offline in the prescribed proforma either by registered post, courier service, or by hand to the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Ambala. Email applications will not be accepted. |
